Front Royal Accommodations
The Fairview House sits on the Registered Historical Grounds of the Fairview Farm. Samuel Shackelford constructed the home after the Revolutionary War was won. Legend has it that the Revolutionary Army camped on the grounds during many of their marches throughout the Commonwealth.
Overlooking the beautiful golf course grounds, this carefully restored two-story timber house sits adjacent to Shenandoah Valley Golf Club clubhouse. It is an ideal stay for our Golf Packages, Golf Schools, and Romantic Getaways. In addition the Fairview House is the perfect location for a business off site meeting.
This Historical Fairview Houses can accommodate up to eight people in three separate parlors/bedrooms. The house’s central location is the “publik room” located on the lower level. This beautifully appointed gathering spot is crafted with brick floors, beamed ceiling, and large stone working fireplace provides a forum for after golf gatherings. The many features of the Fairview House is the gentleman’s and ladies’ parlors, small kitchenette, informal seating, all provide an opportunity for a relaxed gathering.
We also have a cozy The Cottage that will sleep 6 in the bedroom/common room. With one master suite with a queen bed and master bathroom there is also 2 sleep sofas located in the common room with a full bath on the lower level. This cottage overlooks the Blue 9 on our beautiful 27 hole golf course. This house has a beautiful fully functioning kitchen with a large L-Shaped island.
